Sky
Sky

Sky has a background in theater, music and dance. She carries her penchant for creativity into her teaching of yoga. Originally from Miami Beach, FL, she moved to NYC to go to Barnard College and stayed on in New York to pursue a career on Broadway. While doing so, she began studying yoga at Be Yoga in order to focus her energy, relief stress, build both physical and spiritual strength, and gain flexibility in all senses of the word. Before long she began her 200-hour teacher training at that very same studio under the tutelage of Alan Finger, Jean Koerner and Beverley Murphy in the ISHTA system of yoga. She went on to pursue advanced teacher training and received her 500-hour yoga teacher certification in November of 2003. Sky brings a vibrant awareness into her teaching by reminding students of the very reciprocal nature of one's life and one's yoga practice.
